May 19, 2011My darling Andy went to be with Jesus at 4.15pm today.
He was surrounded by both our families and our best friends. I kissed him, and told him that I loved him, that I’d miss him, that we’d look after each other. And that it was time for him to go home, Jesus was waiting for him. I prayed over him, and he slowly, peacefully stopped breathing.
He was a wonderful man, and I feel indescribably blessed to have been married to him for one year, ten months and a day. I can’t express how much I’m going to miss him.

God bless you, dear girl. I doubt that I will ever forget your story for the rest of my life. You are an inspiration to so many.
God bless you. You have shown so much strength and love. May the Lord hold you close to Him and comfort you in your sorrow.

I found Andy’s blog last year and havent been on for a while. I am so sorry for your loss. Andy has given me true inspiration. 3 years ago I had pretty much the same surgery as Andy. I am a Dh racer also and was thinking of getting out of the Pro Dh class after my surgery but Andy gave me the inspiration to stick with it.I am 43 and never stop learning and finding inspiration in others….like your Andy.
